Wow, I got some reducing T's with my kit, but it is hard to find them.  I'm looking for reducing barb T to 3/8" for Dana's heated fuel line.  I can't find anything.  Thought I needed 5/8" i.d. to 3/8" i.d..  I imagine mercedes hose is metric so probably slightly smaller than 5/8" if I were to guess.  Struck out at the local plumbing supply house and Lowe's of course.

Try looking in the PEX section of plumbing. Bring 1" samples of the hoses with you and you may be able to find what you need there.  Often a hose that seems to tight to fit dry will slip right on with a bit of lubrication. VO works well for that.

Will do.  I may have actually scored some 3/4" and 5/8" Tees that reduce to 3/8".  Seems like most reducers only go down one size.  I think I can make what I need from multiple parts.  Sounds like your saying the typical 3/8" hose might stretch to go over a 1/2 inch barb, so I might be able to make a 3/4" to 1/2" reducer fit in place of 5/8 to 3/8".  I think the 3/4" to 1/2" are fairly common.

Napa actually sells a wide variety of tees, reducers, elbows, etc, for radiator hoses. I'll post some numbers to get folks started when I get a chance, but you should also be able to ask a counter person to look them up.

Cheers,
