Can some suppliers for these fittings be linked? They are a little hard to find. Especially the 5/8x5/8x3/8 fittings. Thanks, Glenn

What is the best thing to use for a balancing valve to even out the flow in my parallel loops? I'd use a regular ball valve, but I wonder if it would hold up to the heat, also the handle is just waiting to be moved...

In some cases where only a small amount of restriction is required I just use a heavy zip-tie pulled tight enough to cinch in the hose to constrict the flow. Otherwise a ball valve is best. You can safety wire the handle if you want to make sure it des not move indavertantly. In order to get maximum flow (if needed) make sure that the hole in the ball valve is at least as large as the smallest resrtiction in the circuit. For example a 1/2" ball valve may only have a 3/8" hole in the ball.Quote:

This was sent to me today:Quote:
NAPA carries Balkamp heater hose parts, especially a wide variety of Tees, elbows, reducers, etc. Their on-line heavy-duty truck site is cumbersome, but if you look at all the different pages after searching under "heaters", you'll find them listed and available on-line.
Still looking for easier to link to fittings.
